If you live in Richmond, BC, you already know the city has a lot going for it — stunning waterfront trails along the Fraser River, incredible food in Steveston Village and the Golden Village, and a laid-back West Coast lifestyle that makes it one of the best places to live in Metro Vancouver. What Richmond has been missing, though, is a truly reliable online cannabis dispensary that delivers quality flower, edibles, and concentrates right to your door. That is exactly where Elephant Garden comes in.

Whether you are in Steveston, Ironwood, or the City Centre area, weed delivery to Richmond from Elephant Garden typically arrives within 1 to 3 business days via Canada Post. No fighting for parking on No. 3 Road. No rushing out before a shop closes. Just a carefully packaged order delivered straight to your mailbox with tracking every step of the way.

Why Richmond Residents Are Choosing Mail-Order Cannabis

Richmond is one of the most densely populated cities in British Columbia, yet the number of cannabis retail stores in the city remains surprisingly limited. For a city of over 200,000 people spread across neighbourhoods like Broadmoor, Thompson, Hamilton, and the booming Capstan Village area near the Canada Line, the retail options simply do not match the demand.

That gap has made mail-order cannabis increasingly popular among Richmond residents. Here is why so many locals are making the switch:

• Better selection — Online dispensaries like Elephant Garden carry a far wider range of flower strains, edibles, concentrates, and pre-rolls than most brick-and-mortar shops in the area.
• Competitive pricing — Without the overhead costs of a Richmond storefront (commercial rents on No. 3 Road or Bridgeport are not cheap), online retailers can pass real savings on to customers.
• Convenience — Whether you live in a high-rise near Richmond Centre, a townhome in McLennan, or a house in the quieter west side near Terra Nova, your order arrives at your door without any extra effort.
• Discreet packaging — Every Elephant Garden order ships in plain, unmarked packaging. Nobody in your building needs to know what is inside.

What Can You Order for Delivery to Richmond?

Elephant Garden is a Vancouver-based online dispensary with a catalogue built around BC craft cannabis and carefully curated products. Here is a quick overview of what is available for Richmond delivery.

Flower

From heavy-hitting indicas that are perfect for unwinding after a long commute on the Canada Line, to uplifting sativas ideal for a weekend stroll along the West Dyke Trail, to balanced hybrids that suit just about any occasion — Elephant Garden’s flower selection covers the full spectrum. Strains rotate regularly, so there is always something new to try.

Pre-Rolls

Not everyone wants to grind and roll. Pre-rolled joints are ready to enjoy straight out of the package, whether you are heading to Garry Point Park for a sunset session or simply relaxing on your balcony at home.

Edibles

Elephant Garden’s edible selection includes Drip Edibles — real candy-store candies infused with D9 THC distillate — as well as Bulk Edibles that have been made in-house for over 8 years. All bulk edibles are gluten-free and nut-free with a rotating selection of delicious flavours. Edibles are a great option for Richmond residents who prefer a smoke-free experience, especially in condos and apartments where smoking may not be permitted.

Concentrates

For experienced users looking for something more potent, the concentrates collection includes shatter, live resin, bubble hash, and more. These products deliver powerful effects and rich flavour profiles that flower alone cannot always match.

• Steveston — The charming fishing village at Richmond’s southwest tip, known for its boardwalk, fish and chips, and tight-knit community.
• City Centre — The bustling urban core around Richmond Centre and the Canada Line stations, filled with high-rises, restaurants, and commuters.
• Ironwood — A popular residential neighbourhood with newer developments, parks, and a strong sense of community.
• Broadmoor — Established neighbourhood near the Broadmoor Shopping Centre, known for its family-friendly streets and proximity to the Richmond Nature Park.
• Thompson — A quiet, well-kept residential area in the south end with easy access to the South Arm Trail network.
• East Richmond — More rural and spread out, with larger lots and a quieter pace of life. Mail-order is especially convenient here since retail shops are further away.
• Terra Nova — A waterfront community at Richmond’s northwest corner, known for its rural-feel parks and beautiful dyke trails along the Fraser River.
• Hamilton — A growing neighbourhood with new developments near the east-side waterfront.

Advantages of Ordering Online vs. Shopping In-Store in Richmond

Richmond’s retail cannabis landscape has improved in recent years, but it still lags behind larger neighbouring cities like Vancouver and Burnaby. Here is how online ordering stacks up:

Factor	In-Store (Richmond)	Online (Elephant Garden)
Selection	Limited by shelf space	Hundreds of products available
Pricing	Higher overhead = higher prices	Lower overhead = better deals
Hours	Set store hours	Order any time, 24/7
Travel	Drive, park, browse	Shop from your sofa
Privacy	Walk into a storefront	Discreet packaging to your door
Delivery Speed	Immediate (if in stock)	1-3 business days to Richmond

For many Richmond residents — especially those juggling busy schedules, living in areas further from retail shops, or simply preferring to shop privately — online ordering wins on nearly every front except immediate availability. And with Elephant Garden’s fast turnaround to the Lower Mainland, even that gap is minimal.

Tips for First-Time Cannabis Shoppers in Richmond

If you are new to ordering cannabis online, here are a few things to keep in mind:

Start Low, Go Slow

This is especially relevant for edibles. If you have never tried THC-infused gummies or chocolates before, start with a low dose and give it at least 90 minutes to take effect. Edibles hit differently than smoking or vaping, and the effects last longer.

Know Your Preferences

Not sure whether you prefer indica, sativa, or hybrid? Indica strains tend to be more relaxing and body-focused, while sativa strains lean more energetic and cerebral. Hybrids offer a blend of both. Elephant Garden’s product descriptions include strain details to help you choose.
